What is Kruglu?
Whether you need to attract more customers or keep your team organized, Kruglu's text messaging platform is the solution for you. Kruglu's mobile marketing platform slashes your marketing costs and increases your marketing ROI. How do I get started using Kruglu?

What is a Keyword?
A Keyword is a unique short word (which may include numbers) that customers send a text message to, in order to join your list. Keywords are 4-10 charactes and cannot start with a number or have spaces. A keyword is your group or compay name.

How long can a text message be?
A standard text message is limited to 160 characters. Characters means letters, numbers, spaces, symbols and punctuation.

What is a nick name?
A nick name is the name used by Kruglu in text messages to identify the sender of the message. For Broadcast groups, use your company or organization name. For Groups, use your name or your true nick name , if you have one. Nicknames have to be 3 or more characters including letters, numbers, and underscore '_' with no spaces.

What number do I store for Kruglu?
We recommend you store 1-650-931-7011 as Kruglu in your phones contact list.

What are Kruglu phone short cuts?
Kruglu short cuts are simple commands you text to us so you can modify your Kruglu account without the use of an internet connection or our Web UI.

How do I invite a friend/contact to a group?
As group administrator go to MyGroups->Your Group->Invite. Text the invitation code to your contact and have them text that code to 1-650-931-7011 to join.

How do I join a group?
Your group administrator will text you an invitation code and number for Kruglu (1-650-931-7011).
Once you have received your invitation code, text the code to Kruglu to join the group.
To signup for coupons or discounts, text the keyword from a specific venue to start receiving coupons.

How do I send a message to a group using a text message?
We recommend you store the Kruglu number (1-650-931-7011) provided by your group administrator in your phones contact list.
To send a message, simply send a text message to that number and all the members of your group will receive the message.
If you are a member of multiple groups then send a message to the same number above and when typing your message, start with the GROUP NAME, then a space, then your MESSAGE. For example, if your group name is MYFAM and you want to send the message, "I'm heading home." Then the message will look like this:
myfam I'm heading home.

How do I leave (unsubcribe) from a group?
You can leave a group anytime by texting !leave to Kruglu. If you are a member of multiple groups you must specify the group name to leave the group. Text !leave to 1-650-931-7011 :

How do I set/change my nick name?
You can set/change your nick name by texting the following command to Kruglu:

What does it look like when I receive a text message?
The text message you receive will contain the GROUP NAME, NICK NAME and the MESSAGE. If you are a member of the MYFAM group and DAD sends a message, "I'm heading home" then the message will look like this when you receive it:
myfam (dad) I'm heading home

Will I get charged for sending and receiving messages to Kruglu?
Standard text messaging rates do apply with your mobile carrier. If you send or receive messages frequently using Kruglu, we recommend that you upgrade your plan to an unlimited text messaging plan with your mobile phone provider.
